Tony Almeida, DHCFA, Director of Food & Nutrition. Tony is the 2010 International Foodservice Manufacturers Association (IFMA) Silver Plate Award recipient in the Healthcare Category and also received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Greater New Jersey Society for Healthcare Food Service Administrators.
Tony has been in Healthcare Food Service for thirty eight years and has been the Director of Food & Nutrition at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for the past 25 years.
In the past nine years Tony has been through a three phase kitchen construction program, opened a new state of the art Dining Room and implemented Room Service Dining, house wide in 18 weeks. He manages an operating budget of 14 million and is responsible for 170 FTE’s.
