Rachel Paul, MS, RD, CDN is a public health dietitian and pre-doctoral fellow and in the Department of Health & Behavior Studies at Teachers College, Columbia University.
Her research interests primarily include large-scale nutrition communications interventions and the social-environmental influences of weight and food culture. As a research coordinator at Columbia’s Mailman School of Public Health, she develops electronic and classroom-based interventions that aim to improve diet and physical activity behaviors among cancer patients and survivors.
Rachel is also involved in studies examining food movements and weight management at Teachers College. As a dietitian, she works in private practice for NY Nutrition Group and is the owner of a successful blog and social media following as “The College Nutritionist”.
She serves as the Communications Division Chairman of the Society for Nutrition Education & Behavior. Rachel graduated from Case Western Reserve University with her master’s of science and bachelor’s of science in Public Health Nutrition.
